Team Botch was formed to find the answer to two questions that have plagued mankind since time immemorial…
1. Is fillet steak marinated for 7 weeks in tequila the most macho snack ever invented?
2. Can 3 idiots with no mechanical know-how whatsoever, coax a £100 car over a thousand miles around the back roads of Ireland without major mishap? (Editor's note: if their technical skills are anything to go by, they're all doomed.)
Now the first of those questions has already been answered (No, it’s inedible… Although the steak infused tequila is surprisingly drinkable) and so we have set our mind on answering the second one.
Since the 3 of us set up Team Botch, we have been joined in our quest to enjoy life to the full by many others who we are proud to call fellow ‘Botchers’. Some have become good friends, others already were good friends and more still have woken up the next day asking ‘who are you?…where am I?… what am I doing here?… where‘s my wallet?’
Now the three of us are about to set off on Botch’s greatest adventure (to date) and we hope you’ll all come along for the ride (not literally…it’s a Corolla not a coach) as fellow Botchers…

“he died far too young and far too painlessly…this book opened my eyes” - Edward the Confessor
“He drank me under the table …I still cant face Ribena” - Oliver Read (Deceased)
“I’m sorry, I can’t read” - Kerry Katona
“His music led the way for us” - The one with a perm out of Black Lace.

On the 24th of March 1973 the world changed forever. After this date, music would never be the same again … Dark Side of the Moon was released. On that date, several miles away on the counter of ‘Barry’s Records’ I was born. Not quite as successful but a hell of a lot louder.
For the 36 years since then I have been working at Barry’s Records, rising to the position of third shelf in the centre isle. My hobbies include lying on my back with CD’s from Stray Cats to Supertramp on my groin and deep sea fishing.
I once met Cilla Black.

I was born in the wagon of a travellin' show
My mama used to dance for the money they'd throw
Papa would do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel, sell a couple bottles of Doctor Good
Then when I was five I started at St Marks Primary School in class 1C…. ’what? not the whole life story?… just a short overview?…oh sod that then, if Kerry Katona gets to write a whole book, why can’t I?’ ‘ A ghost writer? Really? Can’t even read?…Ah but those Iceland adverts are great aren’t they?’
The End. D- Must try harder.
